23rd August 2016

Sea Day Mostly Sunny Temp 30c Slight chop on sea.

From the navigator.

Today it gave the history of Port & Starboard which I will not bore you with, suffice to say Port is on the left facing the front and Starboard is on the right. If you are under sail Port gives way to Starboard. Our cabin is on Port. My lecture today was again by Geoff and it was entitled “Asia’s New Super Powers” It will come as no surprise to anyone that China is the biggest but on present predictions it is going to be overtaken in population by India. 60% of the world’s population is in Asia. At 12noon we went to Line Dancing which gave us a work out before lunch. The afternoon was spent reading as there was nothing on which attracted us. Our evening entertainment was to go to the Princess Theatre to hear Donny Ray Evins who you may remember was on a few nights ago doing a tribute to Nat King Cole, this time he sang soul music from the likes of Ray Charles he was still good. The Hypnotist was on again, Coral & Norine, Bev & Ian went. Coral said she has not laughed so much in a long time, Bev & Ian were not amused.
