Sea Day Partly Cloudy Temp 22c Slight Sea small swell.

As above the Swell has calmed down and there is now only a small amount of Motion of the Ocean. This morning we went to the port lecture about Honolulu. Then after coffee Betty went to a session on the “Basics of Skin Care” and she learned quite a lot of new stuff but I will have to let her tell you about it when she sees you. She did say that the lady taking the sessions really knows her stuff. A half an hour later I went to a lecture entitled “The Pacific President Who Is Next” given by Geoff Gray an Australian. He does come with qualifications to speak on the subject, because he has spent quite a lot of time in the US, employed in the Australian Consulate. His lecture was excellent, he said he would try to give a fair comments and he did. Among the things I learned was that Barak Obama spent a lot of his early years in Indonesia and of course he was born in Hawaii contrary to what Mr Trump would have you believe. In the afternoon Betty went to the lecture “Healing Herbs” but the lady that was to have given it has lost her voice so it was canceled. Our evening entertainment was Instrumentalist Doug Cameron who played the violin accompanied by the band. He is very good and he played a variety of styles of music. The clocks go back another hour tonight.
