Biggera Waters
Not a cloud in the sky. Today we took the
Motorhome into Paradise Motorhomes for it’s 2 year service and to have quite a
number of places fixed where the surface coating on cupboards etc has peeled
away. We were told that the manufacturer of the board made a faulty batch and
as Paradise are a big user they finished up with most of the faulty batch. The
company is funding the bill for putting it right, the problem for us is that
instead of just one day to do the service it may now take three. I have been
talked into having a dash cam fitted as they have a cheap deal going at
present. We are also fitting a Carbon Monoxide detector which I think is a good
idea in case of a gas leak.
After dropping the Motorhome off we headed
to MacDonalds for an Egg & Bacon Macmuffin breakfast. Then it was off to
Sea World.
It has been quite some time since we have
visited Sea World and it has changed quite a lot. There are many more rides etc
and quite a number of shows. The condition of the park is excellent but they need
a PR person to advise them on making it more customer friendly. On entering the
park there is a pile of maps on the desk but unless you see them the staff did
not offer them. Even with the map it is very difficult to navigate yourself
around to the various attractions. We had to ask the staff for directions on
numerous occasions. It certainly caters
for family’s with young children but maybe not so attractive to 80 year olds.
We certainly did our walking for the day. At 3.30pm it was time to go back to
pick up the Motorhome. We decided to take it back tomorrow at 7am to give them
a good day’s work so we were not late out of bed.
Hi Alan & Betty, Look forward to your blog each day. Melbourne is horrible at the moment and not looking as though it will get any better for a couple of days. Enjoy your bit of sunshine. Kay & Stuart
