Sydney Fine but overcast.
We were awake early this morning so we were
all packed up and ready to move by the time Zara came. She then followed us down
to where we are storing the Motorhome while we are away. The placing of it in storage
went smoothly, although Zara had her heart in her mouth as she watched as we parked
it very close to a wall. As you will see from the attached photos it is very
secure. I doubt anyone would get past the guard.
After dropping off the motorhome we drove
into Sydney to the Meriton Serviced Apartments in Kent St where we are staying
tonight. We were able to park Zara’s car in the Meriton car park while we went
off and had lunch. Then we said our goodbyes to Zara. After a short Nana nap in
the afternoon we crossed the road to do a little shopping in the World Square
shopping centre and get something for dinner. Subway was a good choice and
cakes from another shop. We were back in the apartment before Millionaire Hot
Seat started. Afterwards we made a few phone calls to family and settled in for
a quiet night. Not sure that the people coming in on the Sun Princess will have
such a quiet night as the wind is now gusting quiet strongly.
Re the photos I went to post the one we
took 2 weeks ago when we checked out the place but we seem to have erased it.
They have a statue at the door of Ned Kelly with his gun. But if any got into
the motorhome we have backup inside as you will see and who would take on the
Australian Army
Both of the boys are quite upset that we are not taking them on this trip.
