At Sea Scattered Cloud Temp 33c
First I should report on last night’s entertainment, we went
to see and hear Donna Campbell who does a Dolly Parton tribute show. Once again
it was a top show, we have been so lucky with the shows they have all been
good. Donna was no exception she was full on.
From the Navigator. Sun Princess will remain on a
north-westerly heading throughout the morning, passing abeam of the island of
Pulau Lakor at approximately 7am on our port side, which is part of Indonesia.
At this point we will exit the Timor Sea, then enter the Banda Sea continuing
on a north north-westerly leading for the rest of the day.
Before going to bed last night I was having pain from my
Hiatus Hernia and it continued through the night even after taking Zantac. Consequently,
I did not sleep to well. It felt like diner last night was still in the top of
my stomach. I decided that today I was going to take it very easy, I just had a
very light breakfast and Betty got a jelly and fruit from the buffet for me
which I had in our cabin. After lunch I was beginning to feel better so we did
manage to go to Line Dancing which only goes for 45 minutes. It was then back
to the cabin for a sleep. Tonight for dinner I just had soup and an ice-cream.
Our entertainment tonight was in the Princess Theatre to
hear Trevor Knight who was billed as a singer of John Denver songs but in fact
he only sang about one of his songs. However, he was most entertaining with a
good selection of songs and he played the acoustic guitar, the Piano and the
ukulele. He also gave the back ground to the writing of most of the songs which
was also interesting. No hot chocolates tonight in keeping with the theme of
taking it easy on the food and drink. I
am now much better and looking forward to the rest of the cruise.
