Sea Day Choppy sea. Temp 28c
From the Navigator.
Throughout the morning, Sun Princess remained on a
north-easterly heading as we entered the East China Sea. At approximately
11.30am we will be abeam of Wenling where we will alter course to port and
proceed on a north north-easterly heading for the rest of the day.
A bit of a bumpy night but both of us slept OK and actually
were later than normal getting up which may have been due to the fact that we
had to put our clocks forward one hour last night. In fact we were so late that
we went from breakfast to our morning coffee after which I went to another of Bruce
Petty’s lectures “Australia and New Zealand in the Pacific War” this one was
not as good as the one before and I left before it ended. After lunch Betty
spent some time putting her photographs onto the computer while I spent a
frustrating afternoon trying to do some banking on the internet. The Internet on
this ship is abysmal when you can get onto it, it is so slow. I eventually gave
up and will try tonight when hopefully less people are on it. Our entertainment
tonight was in the Princess Theatre to see Nathan Foley, a name which maybe
familiar to those who remember the “Hi Five” he was one of them. He certainly
is energetic and gave a very good performance. There was a “Love Boat Disco
Deck Party” outside Deck 12 tonight but our group just went for hot chocolates
and listened to Darren Bethell in the Atrium, he plays piano and sings.
