Sea Day Sunny Skies with some cloud Temp 32c Smooth Sea
From the Navigator.
Throughout the morning, Sun Princess will remain on a north
easterly heading transiting through the Palawan Passage, as we parallel the
coastline of Palawan island. In the afternoon, Sun Princess will exit the
passage and alter course to port, proceeding on a north-westerly heading for
the rest of the day through the South China Sea towards our next port of call,
Hong Kong.
We were awake early this morning so Betty decided to go to
Tai Chi at 7.45am while I read about the election in the Herald Sun, perhaps I
should have gone to Tai Chi as well. After breakfast we went to the Vista
Lounge to the Worship Service again conducted by the Customer Services Director
Steven Ross. It was then coffee with Coral to try to sort out her email
connection which we managed to do. Later I went to the lecture by David Russell
“Wings over the Ocean” which was about aviation in the Royal Navy. In the
afternoon we did not have anything planned so we put Betty’s photos onto the computer
ready to made into a slide show.
Entertainment tonight was in the Vista Lounge to hear the
second show with Don Winsor. This time he sang songs made popular by the likes
of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin etc. which all suited us, it was a good show.
There was a Pirate Themed Deck Party on the Riviera Deck 12 but as we had left
our costumes at home we did not attend.
