Sea Day Raining Very Rough Temp 21c
We woke about 3am this morning, in my case even though I
took a sleeping tablet. The ship was rocking and rolling more than Bandstand.
We did not sleep anymore. I decided to go to the dining room for breakfast but
Betty still wanted to go to the Horror Zone because she said she gets more
choice. Horizon Court is on deck 14 and the dining room is on deck 5, you guess
why I chose the later. We meet again in the cabin but did not stay there long
and then went down to deck 5 where I am writing this blog. I forgot to mention
that last night was our final Formal Night so my suit can now go away. I am
still on deck 5 we have now had morning coffee and lunch here in the
International Café. Betty has gone back to the cabin to wash her hair; I will
be going back there soon to finish packing as our cases have to go out before
dinner. Our last night entertainment was to go to the Vista Lounge where Darren
Bethell gave a concert where we all got song sheets and sang song with an
Australian flavor like Advance Australia Fair, Click go the Shears, Waltzing
Matilda etc. it was a good way to finish the cruise. After our last Hot Chocolate,
we retired to bed accompanied by quite a lot of motion of the ocean. Another
sleeping tablet required tonight. I am writing this last bit of the final post
on the 4th Sept after a good night s sleep. We are just going to go
once more to the Horror Court I mean Horizon Court for breakfast then we will
take our carry off bags and go down to somewhere on deck 7 to wait our allotted
time to disembark. I hope those of you who are still reading this blog have
enjoyed travelling along with us. We are now going to take most of the coming
week to travel home in the Motorhome but before then we are going to spend some
time on Father’s Day with our Sydney family. Goodbye.
