2nd Sept 2016

Sea Day Sunny Temp 17c Calm Sea.

We decided to start packing early so that we can be sure we can fit it all in. So far so good. I could have gone to Geoff Gray’s lecture entitled “ Can Australia Feed a Wealthy Asia” but I must be in end of cruise mode because I could not be bothered. Line Dancing was on in the afternoon which was our exercise. For our evening entertainment we went to see  Tim Cambell whom some of you may know from Australian TV. He started off badly for me and did not improve. Betty told he was OK at the start but she also gave him a zero in the finish. Coral & Norine left after about 10 mins and they were not the only ones. We re-met the girls afterwards in the Atrium for the usual hot chocolate and to listen to Darren who was once more joined by his wife Cassie on violin but better entertainment. By the time we went to bed the promised 40 knot winds had started to kick in, after all we are on the way between Oz & NZ where we never have it smooth.
